Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, Digital Mining Technologies (DIGITEC) Division provides the most comprehensive offering of mine planning, mine optimization, collision avoidance and autonomous equipment solutions in the world. The DIGITEC division is now looking for a driven, organized and communicative Business Controller to support and assist in the Division monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and forecasting. There are currently three Business Units, and the Division is also providing Common R&D services globally. About your job
You are participating to the monthly reporting and consolidation of Division financials, analyzing the results vs targets, investigate deviations and identify improvement areas. You have a key role in the quarterly forecasting process and support with strategic long-term planning. Participating into reporting related improvement projects (BI, ERP, project reporting) and acting as a Finance Business Partner for selected project and cost center managers is also part of your role. The Business Controller reports to Director Business Control and works closely with Business Unit Controllers, Production Unit and Sales Unit controllers, Business Area finance team, Project managers, Business Line Managers, as well as in the local site and country organization.
The location for this position is in Tampere city center, Tulli Business Park. We have hybrid office/home working environment. Occasional overseas travel is part of your job, approximately 1-2 times a year. You have access to professional development and finance training programs established in Sandvik Group.
Who you are?
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration, and 4-6 years of experience in a similar role. You should have strong skills in Power BI and Excel, along with a keen analytical mindset. Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP S4/Hana, Lean system, AND/OR MS Dynamics 365), as well as OneStream is considered an advantage. Familiarity with IFRS reporting standards is highly valued. The ideal candidate has a proactive mindset, a keen understanding of business operations, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to achieve business goals. As you will be working in a truly global environment and Sandvik’s business language is English, you will require excellent English skills, verbal and written.
