Project Manager, Warranty
Our client Merima is looking for a committed and seasoned Project Manager, overseeing Warranty -projects, to become a part of their team. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the company's cruise ship interior construction project warranty claims. This role requires a proactive approach, cost-efficient mindset , strong leadership skills, and a focus on achieving measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage warranty projects, including maintaining an updated register of all warranty claims and overseeing the claims process from start to finish.
- Manage the warranty costs, budget control
- Coordinate repair planning and organizing, including materials, technicians, logistics with Merima logistic, and contacting all parties involved.
- Negotiations with various stakeholders such as Suppliers, Shipyards, Shipowners, project teams
- Actively execute and contribute to a comprehensive warranty strategy, emphasizing enhancements to processes, methods, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Drive additional sales opportunities related to warranty projects.
- Participate in weekly and monthly warranty meetings to review progress, address issues, and strategize solutions.
- Develop and actively contribute to a systematic process for collecting lessons learned items.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience in cruise ship interior construction, building construction, or other comparable construction industry experience.
- Proven experience in warranty management or related field, with a strong understanding of project management principles.
- Stress handling capabilities, ability to work under pressure
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (oral and written).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving measurable results.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
